Arkansas 4-H Adult Leaders’ Association Meetings

The Association meets annually at a time and place designated by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors meets in February and August to set plans and dates for the coming year and conduct the business of the organization.

Activities

Activities sponsored by the Association:

Spring and Fall Parent and Volunteer Forum - a two day event held at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center for the purpose of providing training for volunteers and an opportunity for sharing among counties.

Scholarships - the Association sponsors a scholarship auction at each retreat which raises monies for 4-H Scholarships for Senior, a 4-H trip to Congress, and Adult Leader Scholarships.

Co-Sponsor the Giant Pumpkin and Watermelon Contest at the Arkansas State Fair.

Provide support to the Southern Region Rock Eagle training by attending the workshops and repeating them in state for Arkansas volunteers.
