4-H ATV Safety
The following are facts that every parent should read:
Summer marks a time when children have more free time to enjoy many activities, including riding ATVs. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times when operating an ATV. Parents literally hold the keys to their children’s safety. Every ATV has an ignition key, and when a parent or guardian controls the key, he or she controls the use. The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service 4-H Youth Development Program and the ATV Safety Institute encourage families to learn more about ATV safety as they prepare for a safe, fun summer.
