Plant It

Animated cartoon of a tractorJust like every person has a story, or history, so does a plant. In many societies rice is considered a gift from the gods, while in other areas of the world cotton was believed to be from "tree wool". Tomatoes are interesting also. Many people believed they were poisonous, the French called them "love apples".

Today all of these crops are grown in Arkansas and are important to our economy. Find out their story along with gathering other facts that make these crops so amazing.
