Opportunities for VolunteersAlong with local involvement in 4-H clubs and activities, Adult Volunteers can participate in various state and district activities as well. Many camps, trips and competitive activities for 4-H'ers require the presence and talents of volunteers. These include hiking and camping, an annual trip to Washington, D.C., the Competitive Events at the District and State 4-H O-Ramas, and judging District Record Books. Volunteers also come together to share insights and experiences during local meetings of the Adult Volunteer Leaders' Association, at State Spring and Fall Leaders' Retreats held at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center, and at the Southern Region Volunteer Leader Forum held annually in Eatonton, Georgia at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center. |
