Arkansas 4-H High AdventureAges: 14-up* Interested in a challenge . . . one that requires outdoor skills in backpacking, fire-building, compass reading, outdoor cookery, safety, and skills in working with other people? Are you interested in a challenge demanding top physical conditioning to take on mountain hikes of 6 to 10 miles carrying a 35- to 50-pound pack? The High Adventure Program for 4-H youth in Arkansas offers youth and adults those challenges. Campers find that the Arkansas 4-H High Adventure Program provides them with a unique, challenging, rewarding experience that is unsurpassed for building self-confidence, leadership, and teamwork. |

Adventure TreksAges: 14-up* If backpacking through the Ozarks, kayaking in the Gulf of Mexico, or running Rapids on the Big Piney sounds exciting to you then 4-H Adventure Treks is your ticket to fun. This program provides you with experienced guides for a weekend of adventure. This program is open to all levels of experience from beginner to the advanced. |

Family BoatbuildingAges: All Ages Arkansas 4-H Family Boatbuilding is a program designed for older 4-Hers and their parents to become involved in an exciting and educational program. Participants will each build a 16-foot wooden canoe and learn the techniques to use it safely on Arkansas waterways.
