Cloverbud Camp
- Theme for 2012:
Go Outside and Play
5-9 year olds (Kindergarten-3rd grade
for 2012-2013 school year) and an adult relative*
WHAT: This 2-day camp is
intended to introduce our young 4-H’ers to the camp experience. Each
cloverbud should be accompanied by an adult (21 or older) who has
completed the 4-H volunteer process and who is related to or holds
legal guardianship over the camper.
With this year’s theme, we will be
spending lots of time outside playing.
Activities include swimming,
canoeing, archery, arts & crafts, campfire program and much more.
WHEN: July 6-7 (begins on
Friday at 10:00 a.m. and ends Saturday at 1:00 p.m.)

Weeklong Junior Camp - Theme for 2012: Go
Outside and Play
10-13 year olds (5th-8th grade for
2012-2013 school year)
WHAT: This 7-day camp will be
filled with outdoor activities. Campfire, hiking, rock climbing,
canoeing and so much more.
WHEN: June 24-30, 2012 (Sunday
5:00 p.m. to Saturday 10:00 a.m.)

COST: $360/person

3-Day Junior Camp
- Theme for 2012: Go Outside and Play
9-12 year olds (4th-7th grade for 2012-2013 school year)
Adult Volunteers**
WHAT: This 3-day camp will be based around the theme of Go
Outside and Play!
Get outside and have some fun at this year’s camp. Archery,
canoeing, hiking, fishing, arts & crafts, basketball, campfire
program, meet 4-H’ers from other counties, and gain an appreciation
for summer camp.
WHEN:
Session I July 9-11 (Monday 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday 1:00
p.m.)
Session II July 16-18 (Monday 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday 1:00 p.m.)
WHERE:

COST: $165/person registration (deadline June 1, 2012)

** Adult Volunteers: Either a county Extension employee or
adult volunteer (21 years or older) that has been through the
volunteer application process must accompany each county group. A
minimum of one adult per eight campers is required by 4-H Center
Policy. All adults attending camp are asked to be responsible for
the campers from their county and to act in a volunteer capacity
during the entire camp. Adults pay regular camp fee.

Other Camp Opportunities
Forestry
and Wildlife Camp
10-13 year olds
WHAT: The purpose of the camp is to familiarize the campers with
natural resources and environmental concepts so that they will be
better- informed citizens of tomorrow. Also, the camp enhances
project work related to forestry, fisheries, wildlife, water,
general ecology, and natural resource conservation.
WHEN: Sept. 28-30, 2012 (7:00 p.m. Friday to 1:00 p.m. Sunday)
