4-H Arkansas Outdoor School (AOS)
School Programs
We currently offer both day and overnight programs.
Our classes have been conveniently organized into
outdoor
educational tracks, each including several classes of similar
subject, to help teachers focus their student’s experience on a
particular area of outdoor education.
Our engaging outdoor setting combined with our hands-on,
experiential activities captivate students while the carefully
sequenced classes provide a cohesive learning experience.
So that our programs supplement rather than interrupt classroom
learning, our activities are linked to the
Arkansas Educational
Frameworks (PDF).
It is our hope that students will leave empowered to impact their
schools and communities with the skills, and knowledge they have
gained through our programs.
