Arkansas WHEP Handbooks

Cloverbud handbook (PDF). Cloverbuds who participate in the Wildlife Identification station receive recognition for their effort. Only counties with competing Junior and Senior teams can enter Cloverbuds. Their responses are not graded.

Leader Activity Guide (PDF) provides lesson plans for training your Juniors and Seniors about WHEP concepts for competing in contest activities.

4-H WHEP Flier (PDF). describes Arkansas 4-H WHEP to share with your club members.

Educational Trunks are boxes of resource materials available on loan to county 4-H agents and their leaders. Check out one or more of the following boxes:(1) furs, (2) skulls, (3) wildlife ID (includes plastic tracks, scat and IdentiFlyer), (4) wild foods, (5) books and CDs. Materials need to be picked up from the extension state office and returned within two weeks during January – April when contest materials are in highest demand. County agents call (501) 671-2329 to reserve these trunks.
